This rating is based solely on appearance, it was returned the day it was received.
Firstly, you can not see any gold tone on this watch unless you stare at it at just the right angle. I thought I got the wrong one til I noticed a light hint of gold looking at it crosswise.
Secondly the date display is black on dark grey, which is almost unreadable rendering it useless.
I exchanged this one for a Seiko SUT116, which has very visable gold highlights and the date display is black on white.
Amazon was of course awesome with the return and exchange.

Really nice.Great value for the price.
Nicely built and it keeps time accurately for an automatic watch. The hour/minute hands and the hour markers glow legibly in the dark. The time is easy to read on the face and it fits and stand out well.

Size
The watch came with the default 19 mm diameter wrist strap. I ‚Phoned Seiko to see if they could extend the strap to fit my wife’s 22 mm wrist but was told the item was not a regular UK import so no can do. Amazon refund.

Let the buyer beware
I bought this Seiko watch as a Christmas gift. By the time Christmas came the guarantee (30 day guarantee) was all but over. The watch stops or loses time constantly. Contacted seller and given the run around until they said the 30 day guarantee was up. The were not even polite. Good luck in dealing with these people.
Never by a watch from these dealers.
