Garmin halt
Warum garmin Uhren gut sind werde ich nicht erklären. Ich nutze die jeden Tag. Egal ob beim laufen, Krafttraining, usw.
Ich finde die Uhr ist für den Preis echt gut vor allem für Menschen, die aus dienstlichen oder privaten Gründen in den „Flugmodus“ bzw. Stealth-Mode mit der GPS Uhr wollen.

Perfekte Uhr für Outdoor Fans
Ich war bereits von der Instinkt 1 tactical begeistert und habe mir den Nachfolger zugelegt. Einige Macken, die die Instinkt 1 noch hatte, wie zum Beispiel der Höhen- beziehungsweise der Luftdruckmesser wurde hier eindeutig verbessert (Sensor befindet sich nun and er Seite). Die Akkulaufzeit ist ebenfalls länger und das Design ist wie schon beim Vorgänger genau nach meinem Geschmack. Die Solarfunktion tut, was sie soll. Jedoch ersetzt diese nicht ein normales Laden vor allem, wenn man mehrere Aktivitäten pro Woche startet und das Wetter eher winterliche oder herbstliche Natur ist. Akkurater bis zum Laden ca. 4 Wochen, bei normalen Aktivitäten wie Krafttraining und Laufen (mehrmals die Woche).

Excellent robust watch
Good:
I like how this watch is extremely durable (from my impression) and has a high battery capacity, while at the same time being a fully equipped smartwatch (receiving messages even with correctly displayed emoticons).
On top it adds the well known health-analysis and security features from Garmin, which other smartwatch models as most Apple-watches lack.
The navigation: I tested navigating a pre-made gpx-route (from garmin connect, komoot) in the mountains. It works very good, despite not having maps. You can always tell the direction you have to go. I strongly recommend calibrating the compass whenever starting the navigation, which is a three – button press.
Neutral:
The looks: It’s a matter of taste, as it is a rugged watch. It may not fit if you wear business outfit. But I personally don’t care.
The solar: Not to be expected too much. If you are working indoors, esp. in winter time, solar doesn’t do much. Also, the promise of unlimited battery life is only given for „smartwatch use“, which excludes any kind of activity tracking, which will eat your battery. Anyways, I believe that it could get unlimited battery when you don’t track anything and spend much time outdoors.
Negative:
The stock price of currently 499 EUR is to high. Pick it up for sale. Also the tactical version is overpriced just for the added functions, but if you want the special color (which is beautiful i.m.o.) you have to buy it.

Garmin Instinct 2 Solar Tactical
Eigentlich war ich ja Casio Fan der ersten Stunde, aber auf der suche nach einer Smartwach die robust sein sollte, Solar haben sollte und auch das die Batterie nicht schon nach einem Tag leer ist….
Da bin ich auf die Garmin gestoßen
Nach langen hin und her habe ich sie mir dann bestellt.
Kurz an die Steckdose die Uhr aufgeladen war schon bei 70 Prozent was mich schon gefreut hat, also konnte mich in der Ladezeit schonmal mit der Bedinungsanleitung vertraut machen, okay ich habe mal kurz rein geschaut….
Ich bin zu dem Ergebnis gekommen Learning by doing….
Für das Handy hab ich mir dann die App runtergeladen, die Uhr Einrichtung war dann auch nicht schwer.
Fazit nach einem Monat

Die Schrittaufzeichnung, Puls usw. alles sehr gut…..
Toll finde ich auch das man sie sich so einrichten kann wie man sie braucht sprich GPS usw. was nicht ständig läuft.

Man bekommt, was man erwartet, Eine tolle Uhr
Die Uhr kam schneller an, als von Amazon beschrieben und war sicher verpackt.
Ich habe die Smartwatch in der Blackweek ergattert.
Sie ist 1:1 wie von Garmin beschrieben und erfüllt für mich alle Ansprüche, da ich kein Fan von Smartwatches mit Touch bin und mir der Style (rubust) der Instinct sehr gefällt.
Ich habe die tactical Ausführung nur genommen, da mir die Farbe am besten gefällt, die eigenen Funktionen hierzu benötige ich nicht.
Die Funktionen der Uhr funktionieren allesamt sehr gut, die Höhenmesserfunktion schwankt immer +- 50m, was aber bei dieser Messart normal ist. Man kann das Display der Uhr so individualisieren, wie man es haben möchte. Der Akku ist großartig, die Solarfunktion wirkt sich spürbar pos. aus.
Ich lege auch immer großen Wert darauf, dass das Displayglas nicht erhaben ist, da man sonst bei Outdooraktivitäten meistens schnell Kratzer im Glas hat, das ist bei der Instinct gut gelöst, vll ein bisschen an die G-shock reihe angelehnt.
Für wen ist die Uhr was:
Wer eine sehr leichte Outdooruhr für Aufzeichnungsmöglichkeiten jeglicher Sportarten sucht und nicht alle paar Tage oder gar jeden Tag an die Steckdose will (ohne GPS hält der Akku gefühlt ewig) ist hier richtig beraten, auch das App trägt hierzu einen großen Teil bei.
Wer allerdings ein Technikfreak im Bezug auf Uhren ist, ohne Farbdisplay nicht kann und mehr Spielereien will, sollte zur Fenix greifen.
Wenn mich jemand über die Uhr fragt, empfehle ich sie gerne weiter.

Exactly what I was looking for…
I own this watch for about 4 weeks now and I’m still very excited about it. It’s exactly what I wanted: rugged, simple enough to be of no annoyance, resistant to water, dirt and whatever comes to it when being outdoors…
Many of my friends don’t like it because it’s Display does not show colors, has no touch functionality but that’s exactly what I like about it.
Access to all of it’s many functions is achieved by using the 4 side buttons, like it had been done with all these adventure watches from the old days. It’s Display is only dark/light but readable under any circumstances and, in my personal opinion one of the best technical achievements here, it’s battery can last for a reeeeally long time. Thanks to it’s inbuilt solar cell it also recharges on the run (provided there is sunshine of course. And even if it’s not that much, is definitely recognizable!). All in all, by using it’s core functions at all times and different fitness tracker functions at least a couple of times every day it keeps going for about a month before needing to recharge. A month!!! I said I have this watch for about 4 weeks now and that means I only charged it twice so far, once on its first day in my hand and the second time a day later after extensively playing with it’s various sensors (pulse oxymetric measurements and constantly playing with gps are draining a lot of battery, lol…). But till then, by keeping the spOx-measuring off and just use what’s really needed I haven’t charged it another time and right now it’s still at 12%. I find that quite impressive!
Regarding the accuracy of those sensors (esp. heart rate- and spOx-sensors) I can say they are not as accurate as true medical equipment is (I happen to have access to such equipment…) but the heart rate measuring for example is only about 2 – 3% off, which is a) by far better then from my old (and quite cheap and simple) smart watch and b) absolutely accurate enough to get reliable fitness and body value data to use for training planning and so on.
There are a lot of functions that have little to no use for ordinary persons who are not military personnel such as jumpmaster, but that’s from the military background, which the watch certainly has (I have no idea though if it’s really being used in that area, but it’s surely imaginable…), but if that is too much of an issue you can always select which activities to display you want to choose from.
Connectivity with the Garmin Connect App is good, the app itself lacks a few functions and has some purposely built in features I do not like (e.g. you can only use activity data for certain challenges when you have tracked them with the watch, retroactive input via App are not counting towards their goals), but that’s a different story and does not affect daily use of the watch itself too much.
All in all I am very happy with this watch…

Robust mit langer Akkulaufzeiten
Tolle Uhr mit einem Robusten Gehäuse. Die Begleitapp ist modern aufgebaut und funktioniert top. Leider funktioniert der Satelliten Empfänger nicht immer. Viele Möglichkeit das Menü zu erweitern und umzustellen.

It works smooth with Garmin Connect, impressive analysis of sport performance and daily routines with fast interaction with third parties.
The battery is outstanding when enough solar it can get to infinite battery like the picture shows. 1 month and a half of winter (barely solar charges) wearing it ever day and doing average of 5h per week of intense sport I have averaged 1 charge every 10 days.
Would definitely recommend it instead of other fancy models or brands if you don’t mind black and white layout.

Sehr robuste Uhr. Ist mir schon einige male runter gefallen, nichts passiert. Wer Garmin Geräte kennt findet sich schnell rein. Das einzige negative , was mir bisher auffällt ist das allergisch wirkende Armband. Das habe ich aber auch bei anderen Uhren mit Kunststoffarmband. Tagsüber benutze ich die linke und in der Nacht die rechte Hand. So verschwindet es ganz, oder hält sich in Grenzen. Klare Kaufempfelung, allerdings habe ich ein Angebot von 337 Euro geschossen.
